Finance MVP for User Habits
Personal budgeting and expense clarity
Context
WunderMoney was envisioned as a financial management tool that simplifies how users view and interact with their finances. The idea was to consolidate accounts, track balances, and create new transactions without overwhelming the user with complex flows.
The design aimed to support users who need fast, clear access to financial actions and information — especially when managing multiple accounts and frequent transactions.
My Role
I led the full UX/UI design of the WunderMoney mobile app concept.
My responsibilities included:
Defining core interactions for financial workflows
Designing UI screens for key finance actions
Creating transaction input flows that are fast and intuitive
Iterating on designs to refine usability and clarity
During the process, I focused on how to reduce cognitive load and help users complete tasks efficiently.
Challenge
The main challenge was designing an interface that allows users to create and manage transactions quickly without losing context. Specifically:
How can a user add multiple transactions without interrupting their current view?
How should the transactions screen present data so that it feels organized and easy to understand?
These questions drove the interaction design and UI decisions throughout the project.

Key Features & Design Decisions
Smart Transaction Input
The biggest design focus was the transaction pop-up — a component that allows users to add and manage transactions without closing the current screen.
Designed as a modal overlay so users don’t lose context
Supports multiple entries in one flow
Reduces extra taps or navigation steps
This structure helps users extract value fast and keeps interactions smooth.
Clear Transaction Page
The transaction page itself was designed to show data clearly in one view:
Organized lists of recent transactions
Clear labels and easy-to-scan amounts
Easy access to filtering and categorization options
The goal was to make the page feel uncluttered while still giving access to key information at a glance.

Project Status
Although the WunderMoney app was not launched, the project was a valuable design exercise. It allowed me to explore financial interactions and UI patterns, test multiple approaches to transaction management, and iterate toward clearer and more efficient experiences.
Result
This case demonstrates my strengths in:
User research and iterative design
Designing intuitive workflows for complex tasks
Creating UI that balances clarity with functionality
Thinking through interactions that keep users engaged and focused
Even without a live product, the design work shows a solid foundation for quality UX thinking in finance apps and transactional flows.
